FAQs
QIs it really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no card, no paywall. The roast is free and will stay free.
QIs my resume stored?
No. We read it once, roast it, and forget it. Like a recruiter, but on purpose. To write the roast, its text goes to our AI provider, Groq, which keeps no copy and may not train AI on it. We save only anonymous numbers like the score, never your file or your words. Details in our privacy policy.
QHow is the score calculated?
By fixed rules, not by vibes. They look at what recruiters look for: results, fit for the role and proof behind your skills. The AI only writes the roast and the rewrites, and every rewrite is checked against your resume so it never invents anything.
QDoes it check ATS compatibility?
Yes. It flags things applicant tracking systems often struggle with, like multi-column layouts, tables, missing section headings and unreadable dates.
QWhich files work?
PDF and Word (.docx), up to 4 MB. Scanned resumes and designs where the text is part of an image cannot be read yet.
QWho made this?
Mohit Kaushik, a data person, as an independent project. Follow the build on LinkedIn.
