Privacy policy
UPDATED 2 NOVEMBER 2026
The short version: your resume is read, roasted and forgotten. We never save it, no one trains AI on it, and we never sell anything. Résumé911 is a free project run by Mohit Kaushik in India. The details are below, in plain words.
Your resume
We read your file to build your review, then let it go. It is never saved to our database.
To write the roast and the rewrites, its text (and any job description you paste) goes to our AI provider, Groq. Groq is not allowed to train AI on it, and we have switched on Groq's Zero Data Retention, so Groq keeps no copy either.
So that uploading the same file again is instant, the finished review sits in our server's short-term memory for a little while (usually a few hours) and is then cleared.

What we save
Only what helps us make the reviews better. Nothing that says who you are, unless you choose to give it:
Anonymous numbers about each review: the score, the area scores, the role, which well-known skills appear (from a fixed list), word counts, and a coded fingerprint of the file that cannot be turned back into it. No name, contact details, employers or sentences from your resume.
How the results page was used: seconds on the page, how far you scrolled, and whether you shared, downloaded or copied something. Counters only.
Feedback you send: your rating and comment, and your email only if you type it in.
The Pro waitlist: your name and email, only when you press the button, with the exact words you agreed to, the role and a link to that review's anonymous numbers.
Site visits: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views, country, device and the page you came from. It uses no cookies.
Why
To give you your review, to make the scoring fairer over time, to reply when you write to us, and to send one email when Pro launches if you asked for it. We never sell data and never show ads.
Who helps us run it
Groq (USA) writes the AI parts of the review. Supabase (servers in Mumbai, India) is our database. Vercel hosts the site and counts visits. When you join the waitlist, Google and Cloudflare check that the part of your email after the @ can receive mail.

How long we keep it
Anonymous numbers stay, because they keep improving the scoring and cannot identify you. Your email (waitlist or feedback) stays only until you remove it, which you can do yourself below.
Your choices
Remove your email any time with the form below. It is deleted straight away, not just hidden.
You can also write to us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Résumé911 is meant for people aged 18 and over.
If something ever goes wrong
We keep very little, which keeps the risk low. If personal data were ever exposed, we would tell the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
Remove my email
Type the email you gave us. We delete it from the waitlist and from any feedback right away.
